Darren Kent, an actor who appeared in “Game of Thrones,” “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” “EastEnders” and more, died Friday. He was 36 years old.
His talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates, confirmed his death in a statement posted to Twitter on Tuesday.

“It is with great sadness that we must inform you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday,” the agency wrote. “His parents and best friends have been by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family at this difficult time. RIP is my friend.”
Kent was born and raised in Essex and came to Italy Conti, graduating in 2007. His first major acting role was in the 2008 horror film Mirrors. He went on to appear in an episode of “Game of Thrones”, playing a goat herd in Slavers Bay, playing Recently a reanimated corpse in the 2023 movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
His additional credits include “Snow White and the Huntsman,” “Marshal’s Law,” “Bloody Cuts,” “The Frankenstein Chronicles,” “Blood Drive,” “Les Misérables,” “Green Fingers,” “EastEnders,” and “Happy Hours,” Love Without Walls” and “The Sadness of the Birds”.
Kent won Best Actor at the Van Dore Awards in 2012 for his role as Danny, a boy with a rare skin condition that didn’t allow him to be in the sun, in Sunny Boy. Like his character in the film, Kent also suffered from a skin disorder, as well as osteoporosis and arthritis. He was also an award-winning writer and director, having directed the 2021 short film “You Know Me,” which won the January award.
