
Apple TV+ showed off some juicy details — as well as the first images — from its upcoming series based on Legendary’s Monsterverse.
For starters, the show now has a title: Monarch: Legacy of Beasts. And as the image at the top of this story shows, Godzilla will be a huge part of the series. In addition, the tape also revealed the characters – or rather, the personality, singular – that of father and son Kurt Wyatt Russell will play.

Story of the Monarch: Legacy of Beasts It will span three generations and focus on two brothers who follow in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secret organization known as the Monarch – a kaiju-tracking group featured in the legendary Monsterverse movies.
The siblings’ search eventually leads them to Army officer Lee Shaw, played by Wyatt Russell as a young man in the 1950s and Kurt Russell in the show’s present, which is set after the events of 2014.
